The resources available on this area of the website are aimed towards Teachers, support staff, and those in the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) with the goal of developing knowledge, attitudes and beliefs about multilingual classrooms and supporting EAL learners. Our aim is to provide you with the knowledge and skills that support learners to access the curriculum in the best ways possible for Easton.
Resources for Parents, Guardians and Carers
As well as providing staff in the school with knowledge about how language works in and how to teach EAL learners, this project also makes the vital link between the language of the home and the school. These resources are ones that help the people who look after children at home to celebrate and advance language and literacy in new ways. We hope to Improve your confidence, knowledge and skills in supporting your children as multilingual learners.
Resources for the Wider Community
Members of the wider community can really make a difference to the families and teachers at Easton, as language and literacy are key to success in education. These resources are to help in the celebration of the diverse cultures and languages that converge at the school and to help members of the local community to form relationships that grow into collaborations.
